Family Tree Research

IF your family originated from Gioiosa Jonica or Martone in the province of Reggio Calabria, I have BIRTH, MARRIAGE, and DEATH RECORDS from these villages from years 1809-1910 on microfilm here in Los Angeles (at the LDS Family History Library), and would be happy to trace back your family tree for you. 

I should be able to trace back to the late 1700's, as I have done for my own family.

If you order a test for this project,  I will do this research for you for free, and send you the documents I find.   Here is an example of some documents I have found on my family.  I hope this serves as an added incentive to join this project.

The information I would need from you to get started is:    The names of your parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents and their approximate years of birth.   If you don't know all this, just tell me what you do know!   I will do my best to find your family in the records.  Please e-mail me this information.

A standard family tree, together with a DNA test, gives you the best knowledge about your family---the standard family tree shows your recent family history (the last 200-300 years) and the DNA tests show your Deep Family History (where your ancestors originated thousands of years ago, before reaching Italy).
